One check helps with any Maryland sale. State ticket law, in Senate Bill 539, calls for a clear total price, with all fees and taxes shown, at each step of a sale. Saturday, planned plainly
You can leave and come back in until 7 PM, if you scan out and scan in as the rules set out. Gates open at 12 PM and close at 11 PM. The event is open to all ages. Kids aged 8 and under get in free with an adult who holds a ticket, except in Platinum areas.
The bag rules are short. A small clutch or fanny pack, 6 by 9 inches or less, with one pocket at most, does not need to be clear. A larger bag must be clear and must be under 12 by 6 by 12 inches. Staff search all bags at the gate.
Official sales are final, with no refunds and no swaps. Use a valid source for your wristband: Front Gate Tickets or the Ticketmaster Verified Exchange. The box office cannot fix wristband faults on tickets bought from third-party broker sites.
Book your room early. Town of Ocean City records state that lodging revenue rose in the week of the 2025 festival, and the town tied a dip in May 2026 hotel results to the lack of the festival that month. Those are town hotel records, not a crowd count. They still point one way: rooms for this weekend go fast.
